The Homestead Playhouse Auditions

The Homestead Playhouse is thrilled to announce the spring production of Disney’s Mary Poppins Jr.! This year, auditions are open to performers ages 8-18.
Residents, neighbors and friends are invited to audition for a role in this heartwarming musical based on the practically perfect Mary Poppins who takes the Banks' children on many magical adventures, while bringing their family back together again.
Auditions will be in 45-minute time blocks, to allow for small groups. No preparation is required! Actors who come to auditions will be given small scenes to read, be taught a piece of choreography and will learn and sing a snippet of a song from the show.
Please review and fill out the audition packet and bring it with you to auditions.

Note: Rehearsals for this show are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Rehearsals begin Feb. 1 and the show runs April 28-May 1. The cast will include approximately 30 young people. Not all auditioners will receive a role.
