DC Ranch Leadership Academy Application 2023

Launched in 2020, this program is intended for residents interested in developing practical skills, knowledge, and networks to be an effective volunteer and inspired leader in DC Ranch.
The program allows residents to:
• Contribute their knowledge to the community and challenge themselves to contribute in other ways.
• Deepen their connections with neighbors, community leaders and the DC Ranch team members.
• Learn more about the community’s governance and operations through a series of classes and interactive, behind-the-scenes sessions.
The educational series provides a solid foundation for those wanting to participate as a member of a committee, focus group, outreach ambassador, Neighborhood Voting Member or serve on a Board of Directors.
Each session will be engaging and include classroom-style instruction, interactive segments to problem-solve, provide feedback and work as a team and hands-on activities to expose participants to the types of situations they might encounter as a community leadership volunteer.
Leadership Academy graduates will be acknowledged in community publications, earn special privileges and be honored at a graduation celebration.
To be eligible for the academy, the applicant* must be at least 21 years of age; a DC Ranch homeowner in good standing, DC Ranch commercial property owner, or DC Ranch business owner; be able to meet the attendance requirements; and have a genuine interest in and desire to learn about DC Ranch.
There will be eight sessions held Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. An optional 30-minute mixer will begin at 5:30 p.m. to allow residents to get to know other residents and team members and establish positive, long-term working relationships.

- February 13 and 27
- March 12 and 26
- April 9 and 30
- Graduation – May 7
Participants are expected to arrive on time for each session and may not miss more than one (1) class session in order to graduate.
