DESCRIPTION:“Building the 2027 Budget: Priorities\, Assumptions & the Budget Process” \nThis workshop is designed to give DC Ranch Neighborhood Voting Members an inside look at how the Ranch Association develops its annual budget and the priorities and assumptions shaping the proposed 2027 Budget. \nParticipants will learn how the budget moves from initial planning through management development\, Finance Committee review\, NVM engagement\, and ultimately Board consideration and approval. The discussion will highlight the major factors influencing the 2027 budget\, including maintaining current service levels\, staffing and compensation\, employee benefits\, utility and insurance costs\, vendor contracts\, preventative maintenance\, capital needs\, reserve funding\, and changes to cost-sharing arrangements. \nThe session will also explain how Association-wide expenses and neighborhood-specific costs are incorporated into the budget and how management balances current-year operating needs with the long-term financial sustainability of DC Ranch. \nResidents are welcome to join via Zoom.
