DC Ranch Crossing
The triangular-shaped piece of commercial land on the northeast corner of Legacy Boulevard and Pima Road, which is part of the DC Ranch Crossing shopping area, is under construction. See map. Plans call for two commercial buildings with parking. Ingress and egress to the property will be provided by an extension of the traffic light on Legacy and 91st Street, allowing traffic to go north into the development. DC Ranch Corporate Center
Several new buildings and tenants have made their home at the DC Ranch Corporate Center. Located in the southern portion of DC Ranch, the center consists of 18 lots that are zoned I-1, which is industrial/office use and includes warehousing. Most of the buildings are contemporary in design and six have been started or completed in the last year while several more lots are currently in the development review process.
A wide variety of businesses are in the Corporate Center, from legal offices to an outdoor recreation company, to a state-of-the-art sports facility and a medical rehab center.
The Fetzer Surgical building is the newest to be completed, the company was formerly based in Chicago. Salcito Custom Homes is in the permitting process to build a new office. Avant-Grade Collection recently opened, it specializes in exotic, vintage, and specialty vehicles for sale along with detailing and other services.
The Legacy at DC Ranch
Camelot Homes is building The Legacy at DC Ranch, a new nine-lot subdivision on the north side of Legacy Blvd. and adjacent to The Villas at Desert Park Village on its eastern border. Pre-sales have resulted in four homes being sold prior to construction. Access to the property will be from Union Hills. The gated neighborhood will offer one and two-story floor plans ranging from 2,700 to 3,400 square feet. Options range from 2 bedrooms plus a den to 3 bedrooms plus a casita.
ICON at Silverleaf
Sales at the ICON at Silverleaf condominium project continue to be strong. As of June 2023, a total of 23 condos have sold and 29 more are in escrow. At completion, the project will consist of eight buildings. Buildings 1, 2, 5 and 8 are sold-out. Buildings 3, 4 and 6 have a few units available, while building 7 has not been released for sales. Many of the upper units have been combined for larger square footage.

Hotel in DC Ranch Crossings
The Fairfield Marriott hotel planned for the DC Ranch Crossing commercial center has again been delayed. The project has received City of Scottsdale approvals and permits in Dec. 2022, but no date has been given for construction to start.
The architectural design of the hotel blends with the shopping center. The hotel will have approximately 120 rooms on four floors. Ingress and egress will be on Pima Road and Trailside View. [Rendering 1] [Rendering 2]
Construction Projects Near DC Ranch
101 Freeway Expansion
The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will be constructing an additional traffic lane in both directions from Pima/Princess south to Shea. Project construction is anticipated to begin in late 2023 and expected to take approximately two years to complete. The project also includes:
- Making minor modifications to the interchanges and cross-streets at Princess Drive, Raintree Drive and Shea Boulevard to improve turning movements.
- Reconstructing the interchange at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard to a new configuration.
- Reconstructing sidewalks to comply with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
