Construction Projects
NOTE: All development and construction within DC Ranch is subject to review by the DC Ranch Covenant Commission and the City of Scottsdale.
DC Ranch Crossing
The triangular-shaped piece of land on the north side of Legacy Boulevard, which is part of DC Ranch Crossing, has been put back on the market for sale. It was approved for three commercial buildings, which a new owner may or may not proceed with. Ingress and egress to the property will be provided by an extension of the traffic light on Legacy and 91St Street, allowing traffic to go north into the area. See map.
DC Ranch Corporate Center
Several new buildings and tenants have made their home at The DC Ranch Corporate Center. Located in the southern portion of DC Ranch, the center consists of 18 lots that are zoned I-1, which is industrial/office use and includes warehousing. Most of the buildings are contemporary in design and six have been started or completed in the last year.
A wide variety of business are in the Corporate Center, from legal offices to an outdoor recreation company, to a state-of-the-art sports facility and a medical rehab center.
The Fetzer Surgical building is the newest to be completed, the company was formerly based in Chicago. In September, Provost Collective plans to open. Described as a luxury automobile management and storage facility with an exclusive social club, Provost purchased and will occupy two buildings. A three-tier auto storage system allows for storage of more than 140 cars, with some vehicles to be showcased in an expansive floor area. The social club includes a cigar lounge and bar service.
The Legacy at DC Ranch
Camelot Homes is building a new nine-lot subdivision on the north side of Legacy Blvd. and adjacent to The Villas at Desert Park Village on its eastern border. Access into the property will be from Union Hills. The gated neighborhood will offer one and two-story floor plans ranging from 2,700 to 3,400 square feet. Options range from 2 bedrooms plus a den to 3 bedrooms plus a casita.
ICON Silverleaf
Sales at the ICON at Silverleaf condominium project have been brisk. From Jan. – June 2022, more than 16 units sold. Sales prices have ranged from the low $2 millions to a record setter at $8 million, which was two units combined. The condominiums range in size from approximately 2,750 to 6,250 square feet.
The developer started at the furthest north pad and will continue south, with much of the construction happening simultaneously. This will shorten the total construction time. When fully complete, ICON at Silverleaf is designed to have eight buildings. Sales and marketing are being handled by Silverleaf Realty, for more information go to www.silverleafrealty.com/ICON.
Marriott Fairfield Inn
The Fairfield Marriott hotel planned for the DC Ranch Crossing commercial center is restarting construction plans. Capital markets recently re-opened for hotel financing, allowing the project to move forward. The hotel pad has been part of the center since its inception. The project has received City of Scottsdale approvals and permits. Tree boxing and groundwork is tentatively scheduled to start in fall 2022. The architectural design of the hotel blends with the shopping center. The hotel will have approximately 120 rooms on four floors. Ingress and egress will be on Pima Road and Trailside View. Construction Projects Near DC Ranch
Intersection of Pima and Trailside View
The City of Scottsdale has identified funds to construct a traffic signal at the intersection of Pima Road and Trailside View. A much sought-after request by The DC Ranch Community Council and long awaited by residents, the signal will address a major safety concern. Project design is complete. The city’s next step is to get construction bids and then City Council approval on the construction contract. The city has stated that due to supply chain issues, some of the standard signal equipment is taking much longer than usual to receive. No construction start date has been announced.
101 Freeway Expansion
The Arizona Department of Transportation is constructing an additional traffic lane in both directions from Interstate 17 to Pima Princess. Click here for current closure information. Phase two of this project will continue the lane expansions from Pima/Princess to Shea; no start date has been set.

The Wolff Company has started construction of a luxury, independent senior living community at the northwest corner of Pima Road and Legacy Boulevard. The Revel Scottsdale project entails approximately 200 luxury independent living units in one, two- and three-story buildings on a 14-acre parcel. The units will be available for rent to individuals 55 years of age and older. Amenities include a restaurant, coffee bar, pool, and fitness facilities. The main entry for the project will be on Legacy Boulevard.
