Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona Home Sponsorship
DC Ranch is providing the opportunity for residents to donate and sponsor a Habitat for Humanity Home through the Home Sweet Home Project. Help transform a family’s future by giving today!
Project timeline
Residents will fundraise throughout the spring, with the goal of reaching the required sponsorship amount of $120,000 by May. Once the funds are secured, Habitat will select a family and construction will begin in the fall when Arizona temperatures start to drop.
How can DC Ranch residents get involved?
- Make a donation. On the donation form, choose the “I am giving on behalf of my neighborhood/specific build” designation and select DC Ranch in the neighborhood drop-down.
- You can re-direct your 2024 and 2025 Arizona tax dollars with your donation, meaning it’s at no direct cost to you. Learn more about how to claim your donation (up to $938 for couples and $470 for individuals) as part of the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit.
- Volunteer. Sign up for build days to support construction efforts. No experience is necessary. Habitat ensures every volunteer has a role. More information on volunteer opportunities will be posted when the construction schedule is determined.
- Stay updated. Track the project’s process and celebrate milestones with the DC Ranch community.
