Arizona opening COVID-19 vaccination site at WestWorld
In a news release on April 5, Gov. Ducey and the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) announced a new state COVID-19 vaccination site will open at WestWorld on Thursday, April 22.
ADHS, Cigna, and Scottsdale are among those partnering to open an indoor site offering 3,000-4,000 appointments per day initially and operating from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will have the capacity to offer 10,000 appointments a day.
At 11 a.m. every Friday, ADHS makes appointments available at state-run sites for the following week. Registration for these and many other sites is available at podvaccine.azdhs.gov or by calling 844-542-8201 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m, 7 days a week.
DC Ranch residents may notice more traffic than usual during the vaccination site's operating hours.
Information about all vaccination sites across Arizona can be found at azhealth.gov/findvaccine. To learn more about COVID-19 vaccines and vaccination, please visit azdhs.gov/COVID19Vaccines.
